FUNdraising

Many local school groups have raised money to help their sports teams, music departments and much more. Bowling events are a great idea for churches, charities and other organizations too! Like all other sporting event FUNdraisers, the bowling option will utilize a few different streams.

Why Should You Host Your FUNdraiser At Auburn Bowl?

  • Bowling Is Fun
  • Families Can Do It Together
  • Almost Everyone Can Bowl
  • It's Inside & the Weather Is Never a Factor
  • We Can Accommodate Many Guests
  • Great Audio System To Make Announcements and use a MC or a DJ
  • Groups Keep a Large Portion of ALL Money Raised
  • Our Staff Will Be There To Help Assist You and Organize the Event

50/50 Bowling Event

  • Your group sells tickets and keeps 50% of the money from the tickets.
  • Great to raise $500 – $1000 FAST

Bowl-A-Thon

  • Bowlers collect pledges and the organization pays a small fee for the bowling.
  • Groups have raised between $2,000 & $10,000 in one day with this format.

Corporate Lanes Sell

  • Your group sells individual lane packages for a predetermined price. Package usually includes bowling, and shoe rental.
  • The organization pays for the bowling and shoes, then the remainder of the lane sell money is yours to keep.
  • Groups can raise over $5,000 in one day and this is a great way to raise funds if your group has relationships with many area companies.

Like I said in the intro, you will use a few different ways of raising funds at your event. And you obviously need to organize those ideas. So here they are...

  • Entry Fees - This is obviously your first method of fundraising. Try to get team payments done a month before the FUNdraiser as it saves you chasing people up just before the event and it also gets a commitment from those teams! You should also consider having a package that comes with the entry fee, such as, tournament memorabilia shirts, sponsored energy drinks, and/or a crate of beers (depending on how lively your teams are).
  • Sponsors And Advertising - Approach local companies/businesses to sponsor and advertise at your event. This will bring in good funds if you approach the businesses correctly and show them great benefits of advertising at your bowling FUNdraiser. So be fully prepared when you approach businesses with details of numbers attending and the potential exposure that they'll receive from the event.
  • Raffle Or Auctions - A raffle is always a great addition to any event and should definitely be used at your Bowling FUNdraiser. You could also consider holding an auction during the day or at your 'after' tournament dinner/party!
  • Your Organization Apparel Sales/Promotions - Your group could be running an apparel FUNdraising campaign and any event is a great place to sell your apparel and/or promote your online apparel store! Each FUNdraiser has different elements and options that can be customized for your group. The different types of FUNdraiser also have a very different level of volunteers and time line, it is best to talk to us while planning your event to see what program will work best for your organization.
